After deciding on a career in medicine, she knew she wanted to work at Phoenix Children's and serve the community where she grew up. She is grateful to be part of an organization where she can work with multidisciplinary teams and engage in research that contributes to innovation in the field of developmental pediatrics. She is inspired every day by her patients and their families.

After earning her undergraduate degree and her medical degree from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, Dr. Raz completed her residency training in pediatrics at Phoenix Children's. She finished her fellowship training in developmental pediatrics at Children's Hospital Colorado. Inspired by her mother who is a speech and language pathologist, Dr. Raz knew she wanted to pursue a profession where she could help others. She was drawn to pediatric medicine and during her residency she discovered her passion for developmental pediatrics. Dr. Raz believes that every child is a unique person and that they deserve care tailored to their needs.

When not caring for her patients, Dr. Raz enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters and their family dog. She loves to travel, read, and spend time outside, hiking and exploring.
