Symposium Key Note and Guest Speakers

Keynote Speaker

The 2014 Children's Neuroscience Symposium keynote speaker is Gerard Gioia, PhD, the director of the Neuropsychology Program at Children's National Medical Center. He leads the Safe Concussion Outcome, Recovery and Education (SCORE) Program, is the author of the Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Function (BRIEF™ Scale), and co-creator for the Heads Up to Schools: Know Your Concussion ABC’s, a new publication from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

In addition, Dr. Gioia is the Principal Investigator, Children's Research Institute (CRI), Center for Neuroscience Research (CNR).
