Now, our Pediatric Movement Disorders Center at Barrow Neurological Institute at Phoenix Children's offers this innovative treatment to pediatric patients. How DBS works: Tiny electrodes are inserted into the deep parts of the brain that control movement, which delivers carefully selected stimulation to those brain regions.
