Katie is eight years old. She seems quiet at first, but it doesn't take long for her to open up. At the age of two, Katie was diagnosed with cancer of the bladder and underwent chemotherapy and radiation at Phoenix Children's. She went cancer free until age seven, when she was diagnosed with leukemia.
Today Katie receives chemotherapy for the leukemia. Her mom Diana says Katie loves to visit with the doctors and nurses at Phoenix Children's Hospital while she receives her chemotherapy treatment. Mom describes Katie as a real trooper for all that she has gone through during her treatments. Below, Katie tells us more about herself.
