Phoenix Children’s Holds The Joint Commission Gold Seal
The Joint Commission accredits and certifies more than 20,500 health care organizations and programs in the United States. The gold seal is recognized nationwide as a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to meeting certain performance standards that lead to safer, more effective medical care. In 2014, Phoenix Children’s passed its triennial unannounced survey and meets or exceeds the Joint Commission’s standards for providing safe and effective care of the highest quality and value. In addition, Phoenix Children’s has maintained at or above the national average for our Children’s Asthma Care.
