2016 Summer Volunteer Program

NOTE:  THE 2016 SUMMER VOLUNTEER PROGRAM for students age 18 through college senior is now FULL.  No new applications are being accepted.  Thank you for your interest in the program.  

If you are a student age 13-17 years, please check out our Summer Project Days below.  Enrollment is currently being accepted for those sessions. 

Also note:  Teens age 16 and older are always eligible for the standard Phoenix Children's In-Hospital volunteer Program year round and can learn more here


PROJECT DAYS for Teens 13-17:

The Volunteer Services Department is offering a Project Day for students ages 13-17. The Project Day includes a community service project benefiting programs/services for Phoenix Childrens patients and families. There will also be a hospital tour, educational and teambuilding content.

As part of this day of service students are encouraged to donate one Bulk Size "salty snack" (fish crackers, pretzels, etc.) and snack-size Ziploc baggies. These items will be bagged as individual portions and given out via our volunteer Coffee Cart to patients and families.

Students age 13-17 are eligible to participate in one of two sessions: Thursday, June 30th, 2:30-6:30 pm   or   Monday, July 18th, 2:30-6:30 pm.
