Dr. Scheffler is a fellowship trained pediatric otolaryngologist in the Division of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Phoenix Children's Hospital. He obtained his bachelor's and medical degrees from McGill University before completing his otolaryngology and head and neck surgery residency at the University of Toronto. This was followed by fellowship training in pediatric otolaryngology at Stanford University.
Dr. Scheffler treats the whole spectrum of ear nose and throat conditions. His special interests include complex airway management and airway reconstruction, the treatment of voice and swallowing disorders as well as the management of complex sleep apnea patients. He is also a member of the aerodigestive team at Phoenix Children's Hospital. Dr. Scheffler conducts research in clinical epidemiology as well as the application of machine learning algorithms to clinical problems in pediatric otolaryngology. He has published numerous peer-reviewed articles, textbook chapters, and has presented at both national and international conferences. Read less
