About Scott D. Willard, MD

Scott D. Willard, MD, is a radiologist at Phoenix Children's who specializes in pediatric radiology and pediatric interventional radiology. Dr. Willard's areas of expertise include pediatric radiology, pediatric interventional radiology and vascular malformations.

He earned his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. Dr. Willard completed an internship and residency in diagnostic radiology at Baylor Scott & White Health in Temple, Texas. He continued his training with fellowships in pediatric radiology and pediatric interventional radiology at Phoenix Children's. Dr. Willard is board-certified in radiology, diagnostic radiology and pediatric radiology.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Willard is also deeply invested in clinical education and research. He holds an academic position at the University of Arizona College of Medicine as a clinical assistant professor. He's also been published in peer-reviewed journals, including Acta Radiologica and the American Journal of Neuroradiology.

Dr. Willard has professional affiliations with the Society of Pediatric Interventional Radiology, the Society of Pediatric Radiology and the Society of Interventional Radiology.
