Leukemia & Lymphoma

Your child and family deserve the best possible care, treatment and support while your child fights leukemia, lymphoma or Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH). At the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Phoenix Children’s, our physicians, nurses and other staff members have dedicated their careers to treating children and supporting families who are fighting cancer. They save lives every day — and take the time to help reduce your child’s stress. We strive to keep you and your child as comfortable as possible while your child is in our care.

Finding New Cures

Not only do our specialists have access to the latest and most advanced treatment options, many are highly published leaders in the search for new and better ways to fight leukemia, lymphoma and LCH. We’re the only local institution to offer Phase I oncology trials for children, which evaluate the most cutting-edge new drugs available. We will let you know if your child may benefit from participation.

National Recognized

Phoenix Children’s Hospital is ranked 35th nationally for children’s cancer hospitals by U.S. News & World Report, and our doctors are consistently listed among the best in Phoenix Magazine’s annual “Top Doctor” edition. Our nurses and support staff are specially trained and experienced in working with children and families who are fighting cancer. And our social workers, therapists and other professionals can provide guidance and support for your child and family when needed.

Exemplary Follow-up Care

The care doesn’t end when treatment is complete — our survivor program helps ensure your child has access to all the support services he or she might need — and a chance to live a full, healthy life.
