Telehealth Appointments Available

COVID-19 Resource Center

No matter what is happening, Phoenix Children’s is committed to providing the best health care to children and families. This was true during the height of the COVID-19 emergency and will be true during any future challenge. One way we’ve been able to continue to deliver nationally ranked primary and specialty care to our families is through telehealth visits, also referred to as virtual care.

Where appropriate, Phoenix Children’s can provide telehealth visits via Zoom Cloud.

Following are some frequently asked questions and answers about telehealth visits.

Why do you offer telehealth appointments?

  • Patients have uninterrupted access to high-quality care.
  • We reduce the number of people at our hospital and clinics, safeguarding our providers and the children who need in-person treatment.
  • We support guidelines for social distancing.

What should I do about existing appointments?

If you already have an appointment, your child’s doctor will determine whether a telehealth or in-person visit would be more appropriate.

If a telehealth visit is best, our scheduling department will call you to provide all of the information you need.

Can I make a new appointment?

Yes, we are accepting new patients and scheduling new appointments. Our medical providers will talk with you about your child’s needs and determine if your appointment should be a telehealth or in-person visit.

To make an appointment with one of our specialists, call 602-933-KIDS (5437).

To schedule an appointment with a pediatrician, contact one of our clinics near you.

Is your child’s health managed by a Phoenix Children’s Care Network (PCCN) provider?

Many of our PCCN providers also offer telehealth appointments. See a list of providers in our network.
