Fetal Cardiology Program
Our Fetal Cardiology Program offers evaluation, diagnosis and management of pregnancies at risk for fetal structural heart defects and rhythm disturbances. Our program has a rich history of success in identifying problems in fetuses early, which has helped us build coordinated care with our cardiology, perinatology, neonatology and cardiothoracic surgery departments.
As the fifth largest pediatric cardiac program in the U.S., Phoenix Children’s is the go-to hospital should your baby be diagnosed with congenital heart disease. With the largest and most experienced team of pediatric heart specialists in the Southwest region, our team is trained to care for your baby’s heart condition before birth through adulthood.
Our Pediatric and Fetal Echocardiography Laboratory helps us establish early detection of congenital heart anomalies. We also coordinate consultations with other members of the Fetal and Neonatal Care Center at Phoenix Children's for services that include maternal fetal medicine, genetics, general surgery, orthopedics and neurosurgery.
Nationally-recognized Fetal Cardiology Program
Our knowledge and expert service has earned us a spot on U.S. News and World Report’s Best Hospitals for Neonatology and Cardiology and Heart Surgery, as well as a top rating by the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) for our congenital cardiothoracic surgery program.
