Neonatal nurse practitioner Ana Borkowski, NNP, considers it a privilege to provide individualized and tailored care to newborn babies, particularly during their first days of life.

"It's an honor to be part of such a special moment in a family's life," she says. "One of the most rewarding parts of my career is the connection that I can make with the family while caring for their newborns."

Ana started her nursing career working with mothers and babies. This experience led to her interest in and passion for working with newborns.

"Every baby is unique, and the care given to them is individualized and tailored to their specific needs," she says. "I love the philosophy and mission here at Phoenix Children's and enjoy helping and caring for my community."

Outside of work, Ana enjoys running, camping, playing tennis and spending time with her friends and family.
