Additionally, she is the Associate Program Director for our Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship.

Her work in the behavioral health field began in 2001. She worked in social service programs, behavioral health hospitals and schools which provided her the opportunity to see children in various stages of development and in varied life circumstances. It was during these experiences that her fascination with the brain and human behavior evolved into a passion for helping children and their families.

Dr. Bachini was drawn to Phoenix Children's because of their shared goal to improve the quality of life, both physically and emotionally, for children with mental health concerns. She appreciates Phoenix Children's commitment to the continuing development of well-informed, innovative and caring providers to best support the mental health needs of children and adolescents. Through the hospital's substantial teaching services, she has the opportunity to participate in the continued development of mental health professionals to meet the growing needs of our community.

After attending Drexel University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Dr. Bachini completed both her residency and child and adolescent fellowship at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. She currently holds board certification through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology for children, adolescents and adults.

Her professional affiliations include the American Psychiatric Association, Arizona Medical Association, Arizona Society of Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists, and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Serving as an advocate for children and their families, Dr. Bachini strives to help parents, educators and all those in a child's world come to understand the unique circumstances that have shaped the child's mind and continue to influence their behaviors. Through speaking at conferences and in the community, she hopes to help destigmatize mental health issues and empower children and their families.

When not at work, Dr. Bachini enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
