About Jeffrey M. Vaughn, DO

Jeffrey M. Vaughn, DO, a sports medicine trained pediatric orthopaedic surgeon, is director of the PCH Sports Medicine Program for Young Athletes at Phoenix Children's Hospital, Phoenix, AZ.

Dr. Vaughn received his medical degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Kirksville, MO., and went on to complete his internship at Memorial Hospital, York, PA. He then completed an orthopaedic surgery residency, also in York, PA, where he trained at Memorial Hospital, York Hospital, Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD, with a pediatric orthopedic rotation at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD.

To complete his sub-specialty training, Dr. Vaughn fellowshipped at Children's Hospital, Boston in pediatric and adolescent sports medicine and arthroscopy.

Dr. Vaughn has worked for Phoenix Children's Hospital since August of 2008.

He and his wife Heidi have 6 children. They live in Gilbert, AZ.
