"Caring for those who are extraordinarily vulnerable is especially rewarding."
After receiving her medical degree from West Virginia University, Dr. Griffiths completed her residency in general pediatrics and fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at the same institution. She further specialized with a cardiac intensive care unit fellowship at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston. Dr. Griffiths currently serves on the Board of Directors for the International Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia Collaborative, where she is also a member of the Education Committee. She is the site sponsor for the Children's Hospitals Neonatal Consortium (CHNC) and organizes and moderates monthly, international case conferences for the BPD Collaborative. As Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Child Health at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Creighton University, Phoenix Campus, Dr. Griffiths mentors students, residents and fellows in clinical care and research projects related to BPD.
