Medical Genetics and Genomics Residency
Residency Programs
Phoenix Children’s is Arizona’s first and only free-standing pediatric hospital with the mission to advance hope, healing, and the best healthcare for children and their families. As Maricopa County continues to grow, so does Phoenix Children’s with the addition of the new facilities in Avondale, Gilbert, Glendale, and Peoria, plus the expansion of the main campus creating 96 additional patient rooms and 60 clinical exam rooms.
We are currently recruiting one resident to join our two-year Medical Genetics and Genomics Residency Program. Individuals may enter the residency upon successful completion of an ACGME accredited Pediatrics Residency. Graduates of our Medical Genetics and Genomics Residency will be eligible for ABMGG certification in Clinical Genetics.
We are currently waiting for approval from the American Board of Pediatrics for a Combined Pediatrics-Medical Genetics and Genomics Residency Program, which will be a four-year program.
