Pediatric Infectious Diseases Fellowship

Fellowship Programs

The Phoenix Children’s Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program, the only one of its kind in Arizona, is dedicated to serving underserved communities in the Southwest. Our graduates will provide care to children from a variety of ethnicities and social backgrounds, making a lasting impact on these communities.

Our program’s leadership and faculty, who are experts in pediatric infectious diseases, provide comprehensive training to our fellows. They learn to develop personalized treatment plans for each patient, ensuring the best possible care. The fellowship program integrates clinical research, quality improvement, and patient safety training, equipping fellows with the skills needed to contribute to the advancement of pediatric infectious diseases through innovative research.

Our program offers a diverse experience in both inpatient and consultative settings, exposing fellows to a wide range of patients with complex medical conditions. This approach emphasizes the development of skills necessary for patient-centered care. The infectious diseases fellowship at Phoenix Children’s Hospital is an exceptional educational opportunity for physicians seeking a specialization in pediatric infectious diseases.

Graduates of our program will be well-equipped with the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to provide high-quality care to children with infectious diseases. They will also be prepared to contribute to the ongoing advancement of the field through innovative research.

The Phoenix Children’s Hospital Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program will be accepting applications for AY 2025/2026.
