Partnership with Arizona Diamondbacks and Phoenix Children's Hospital

Phoenix Children's and the Arizona Diamondbacks are great teammates.  As official sponsors of the Arizona Diamondbacks, you’ll find Phoenix Children’s at D-backs events throughout the season.

Here are a few highlights:

  • The upper concourse children’s play area and batting cages are now the Phoenix Children’s Hospital Sandlot. This is a prime destination for all families at Chase Field. On Sunday home games, PCH team members will be on site with giveaways and appearances by our mascot, Dudley. You can also meet Phoenix Children’s doctors at our “Ask a Doc” booth.

  • After every Sunday home game, the Diamondbacks host “Kids Run the Bases for PCH.” Watch for the story of a Phoenix Children’s patient throughout the game, then that child will take the lead-off position as Most Valuable Patient for this post-game tradition. Diamondbacks Charities will donate $1 to PCH  for every child who participates during the season, estimated at $30,000!

  • Arizona Diamondbacks Baseball Academy, presented by Phoenix Children's Hospital, gives kids the opportunity to learn baseball the D-backs way. Phoenix Children’s provides valuable information to coaches and team members on PCH Sports Medicine, Urgent Care, our Concussion Program, injury prevention and more. Find our signage in the Futures Field and batting cages at Chase Field.

  • The Arizona Diamondbacks have pledged a total of $300,000 over the next three years to fund the growing needs of 1 Darn Cool School, the school located inside Phoenix children’s Hospital.

Special thanks to Paul and Amy Goldschmidt for their gift of time and talents to the patients at Phoenix Children's Hospital!
