The Psychology Program Team
We believe in treating the whole person. This means every patient’s treatment plan is developed by a team of specialists in fields ranging from pain management and neurology to oncology and psychiatry.
We’re a core group of 10 psychologists who collaborate with other members of the medical staff to provide excellence in clinical research and patient care for children, teens and young adults. We’re experienced in assessing and treating a range of disorders that impact thinking, feeling and/or behavior.
These disorders include:
Depending on a patient's needs, we offer treatment on an inpatient and outpatient basis, and in settings such as individual, family or group therapy.
We know that collaboration with families is essential to helping patients on the path to healing. We work closely with the medical team and loved ones to create an individualized plan using evidence-supported treatments. Plus, we offer 10-week support groups to help families and loved ones connect with others in similar situations. At Phoenix Children’s Hospital, you’re never alone.
