Michell Lozano Chinga, MD, is a pediatric allergist and immunologist at Phoenix Children's. Dr. Lozano cares for children with a wide range of conditions involving the immune system. She is skilled in the treatment of immunodeficiencies, immune regulation disorders, environmental and food allergies, eczema, chronic hives and asthma.

Dr. Lozano enjoys working with the brilliant and charismatic team of medical providers who practice at Phoenix Children's. She enjoys the diversity of her patients and is proud to play a part in making the community she serves a better place.

After graduating from the Universidad Internacional del Ecuador in Quito, Ecuador, with her medical degree, Dr. Lozano received her pediatric residency training at Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami. She went on to complete an allergy and immunology fellowship at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa.

Dr. Lozano is board certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics; the American Academy of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology; the American College of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology as well as the Clinical Immunology Society.

She enjoys working with kids and decided to practice pediatrics after serving in a rural community that offered her the chance to work closely with children. She is guided by her belief that good patient care is achieved by working in conjunction with patients, their families and their primary care physicians. Dr. Lozano hopes that by helping children live healthy lives, we can help the world become a better place.

When not treating patients, Dr. Lozano spends time with her family. She enjoys traveling and hiking.
