Pediatric Plastic and Craniofacial Surgery Fellowship

Fellowship Programs

The Pediatric Plastic and Craniofacial Surgery Fellowship offers training for those who intend to pursue a career in plastic surgery devoted to the care of children. It is the goal of our fellowship program to train the future leaders in the discipline of pediatric plastic surgery, leaders devoted to excellence in pediatric care, research, and education.

This program is endorsed by American Society of Craniofacial Surgeons (ASCFS) and is designed to prepare trainees to care for patients across the spectrum of pediatric reconstructive surgery. The focus of the program is learning a family-centered, multi-disciplinary team approach to various disorders including cleft lip and palate, craniofacial anomalies, hemangiomas/vascular malformations, microvascular surgery, and congenital and traumatic hand conditions. The Division of Plastic Surgery faculty participate in several multidisciplinary clinics for a variety of congenital diagnoses. As the only free-standing children’s hospital in Arizona, Phoenix Children’s is a Level One Trauma Center with a high volume of craniofacial and hand traumas.

Program Duration

This is a 12-month fellowship program, accepting one trainee per year. Start date will be early July (this will vary slightly each year based on the Independence Day Holiday).
