Dr. Timothy Hug graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry, after which he served in the US Army for three years. Dr. Hug practiced at the Children's Hospital in Kansas City for over 25 years, and joined the Phoenix Children's Hospital in October 2020. He is the chief of optometric services and is the residency director for their pediatric optometry program.Dr Hug is a clinical associate professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry and a member of the Arizona Optometric Association. He provides CME lectures for regional and national optometric meetings.
