Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to: 

1. List the benefits of adequate analgesia and the risks related to different modalities of analgesia.
2. Recognize clinical scenarios that may benefit from multimodal analgesia including regional anesthesia or an ERAS protocol.
3. Identify signs of substance use disorder in pediatric patients.
4. Describe the use and current availability of naloxone at home and in the hospital.
