Overall Activity Objectives:

1 Implement appropriate strategies for diagnosing pediatric conditions.

2 Evaluate and implement appropriate, current treatment options vis a vis emerging therapeutics.

3 Implement in practice developing areas of research and evidence-based recommendations within a diverse range of pediatric specialties.                                                                                                                                                             

Session Objectives:

  • Discuss high risk fetal conditions (e.g. sacrococcygeal teratoma, vein of Galen malformation, placental chorioangioma, etc) and their cardiovascular implications

  • Present options for prenatal monitoring and intervention for high risk fetal conditions

  • Discuss the perinatal management for high risk fetal conditions and postnatal outcomes
