Meet the team at Phoenix Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (CCBD). Our leukemia and lymphoma specialists are up-to-the-minute in the most effective and promising treatments and follow-up — in fact, the CCBD is the only local institution offering Phase I oncology trials.
We have Arizona’s only histiocytosis team exclusively focused on the disease.

Our center is the only federally-funded Hemophilia and Thrombosis Program in Phoenix. These resources enable us to gather a team of qualified, trained experts to care for patients with a wide range of bleeding and coagulation disorders.

Our social workers, therapists and other professionals can help with social, educational and developmental questions, concerns or fears that may arise related to your child’s medical journey.
Our program is one of the few in the nation currently approved to administer CAR-T therapy for relapsed or refractory Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Because we work with other specialties and departments, we can easily share skill sets and knowledge, ensuring the broadest care experience.
We’re a dedicated group of hematologists, nurses and social workers ready to deliver world-class service to every single one of our patients. From aplastic anemia to myelodysplastic syndrome, we treat a host of blood and bone marrow syndromes and congenital disorders. In select cases, our Bone Marrow Transplant team, also with expertise in bone marrow failure, is closely involved.
