Karen Dunivant, CPNP, earned both her Bachelor of Science in nursing and Master of Science from Arizona State University. She worked in pediatrics as a registered nurse for 16 years before returning to school to obtain her Master of Science Degree and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification and has worked at Phoenix Children's as a CPNP since 2004.

A native to Arizona, she has been married for 28 years and has six children between the ages of 30 and 19 years old. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, working out, reading and cooking.

The most rewarding part of her job is taking care of children and their families. She is proud to be a part of Phoenix Children's because it is an organization that is 100 percent about the children and goes above and beyond to provide nationally recognized, excellent care.
