Fetal Care and NeonatologyIf you and your baby face an uncertain pregnancy or receive a diagnosis shortly after birth, you deserve the assurance of being in highly capable hands. Turn to the Center for Fetal and Neonatal Care. We are here to make sure your baby gets the best possible start to life.
We provide nationally-ranked multidisciplinary medical and surgical services and care coordination, delivered with empathy and understanding. Our team is here to comfort and guide you through your baby’s medical journey – before birth and for as long as you need us.
If you know your pregnancy is complicated, you will deliver your baby prematurely, or your baby will have some health challenges after birth, our team can help ─ even before your baby arrives.
Planning Your Baby’s Care
Our team will work with your chosen obstetrician (OB), maternal fetal medicine (MFM) provider and other specialists to plan your baby’s care before they are born and prepare for their care in the NICU.
During your pregnancy, you can meet ─ one on one ─ with our experts to discuss your baby’s delivery and plan of care. We will develop a personalized plan that will ensure both you and your baby’s needs are met. This may include consultation with other Phoenix Children’s nationally-ranked pediatric specialists like our fetal cardiologists or fetal imaging team or others.
This journey is likely not what you expected, and it is hard. But you are not alone. Your family can count on a dedicated registered nurse to help create and guide you through all aspects of your baby’s individualized care plan — from initial testing and diagnosis to comprehensive treatment and ongoing support.
We’re with you every step of the way.
